1. GOD IS OMNIPRESENT 'Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.' (Psalm 139:7-8 NKJV). Have you ever intentionally done something wrong, then foolishly thought the Lord couldn’t see you or wouldn’t take note? The truth is, God is watching everything everywhere. Like a complex spiritual closed circuit system, He has the whole universe continually under His gaze. He sees both the evil and the good (Prov. 15:3). The darkness we hide in is as light to Him—we will never escape His loving, caring and correcting presence (Jer. 23:24). The Greek word 'omni' means 'all'. Omnipresent means all present, so to describe God as omnipresent is saying He is everywhere.
