THE MAGNIFICENCE OF GOD
Have you not known? Have you not heard? Has it not been told you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth? It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in. (Isaiah 40:21-22 NKJV) I thought I had seen enough of the great wonders the Creator had done with gigantic rocks when we rode around on horseback as fresh laboratory science students in the Veterinary Research Laboratories in the vast terrain of Vom, on the Jos plateau. But when in later years I drove with my son to the Federal Secondary School for Gifted Children at Suleja on the Federal Capital Territory, I became lost in awesome wonder as we approached the colossal Zuma rock!
