The bible says, 'For whom He foreknew...He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified' (Romans 8:29-30). There's no mistake in those the Lord calls. He knows them from the womb and has a purpose for their lives. Then Noah built an altar to the Lord, and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. And the Lord smelled a soothing aroma. According to an ancient Greek legend, Damon and Pythias traveled to live in Sicily where Pythias was convicted of plotting to overthrow the despotic King Dionysius of Syracuse, and was sentenced to death.
